Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Amazing place. Mike and his wife were very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Close to Tsitsikamma. It was really handy that they were able to do our laundry while we were doing some hiking and we just then came back a few hours later to collect it.

The staff are amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The 2 bedroom, sea facing, self catering chalet has a modern farm style feel and has all the amenities one requires . We visited in winter and although the chalet can be cold there are heaters, electric blankets (which was switched on before we checked in) hot water bottles and extra blankets. Spectacular sea view, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your bed. Would love to visit in summer to take advantage of the swimming pool and outside dining area.

A buffet breakfast or dinner is served, everything as expected. The staff was very friendly and treated us with a lot of kindness. The swimming pool is immaculate. The trails and walks is beautiful. Best trail we have done, especially the river and pools to cool off in on your way.

Peaceful area in nature. Stunning Mountain View’s. Excellent service from the resident beauty therapist. Very helpful and friendly waiters and kitchen staff. Delightful breakfast chef. Spacious chalet. Clean well maintained swimming pool.

Amazing chalets, beautiful bathroom, breathtaking views over a waterfall. Restaurant located on a cliff with sea nieuw. Hot tub, jacoozi, swimming pool, kids play area, good restaurant with real good food, braai options. 30 min from the Tsitsikamma NP entrance. Super friendly staff! Would have loved to stay longer!
