Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The place is Heaven on earth, above expectation,,, Staff are helpful and well welcoming and care. Breakfast was excellent. Rating is 10+.

Hotel Hochsteg Gütl sa nachádza v obci Ebensee a je ideálnym východiskovým bodom pre výlety do historických dedín Hallstatt a Bad Ischl. Absolutely everything. The location was stunning, the facilities were top notch, the service was personalised and impeccable. Our room (the family room) was straight out of an interior design magazine and the breakfast was great. We dined several times at the hotel restaurant which was adjacent to it and is also run by the family - and it was delicious. There was a big park with a trampoline and other games to keep the little one entertained and the roofed, heated pool was a big hit also. There was a lovely garden to have tea and cake in (home made cakes, coffee and tea were available from 2 to 4 pm at no extra cost) and also to read a good novel and lose yourself in the scent of the flowers and the sound of the feature fountain. The gentleman who runs it has high attention to detail and was very kind and attentive. We had to leave before the usual breakfast time so he got up one hour earlier to make a full breakfast just for us! He made sure our stay was excellent and we will definitely be coming back next year! Many a hotel owner/ hotel chain manager should visit and take notes on how to run a place to an absolute high standard.

Hopefully we can go back once in summer too, but the house is perfect in winter as well. The fireplace is stunning! Underfloor heating gives such high-end comfort too. This house is setup for relaxation, while you can have fun in the playroom downstairs too. Swimming pool, barbeque facilities...so many things, that it's hard to list them all! Ohh, almost forgot the sauna! Once it has a plunge pool for the sauna, then it'll be the ultimate destination!

Located 1 km from Lake Traunsee and a 5-minute drive from a public beach, Landgut Wagnerfeld in Altmünster features a swimming pond as well as free WiFi. The location is absolutely perfect. Amazing views of the Traunstein and Traunsee, only a few minutes away from Gmunden (a lovely little town by the lake) and also not far from larger cities such as Vöcklabruck (10-15 min by car) and Salzburg (40 min by car). Both in the summer and winter, there is so much to do and explore nearby; any length of stay won't feel quite long enough. The property is also very clean and comfortable, and the hosting family go out of their way to make guests feel at home. For example, on arrival, some delicious homemade cake and jam were waiting for us, and when we had an unexpected bout of snow, we were handed some winter gear and sledge for our daughter. There is much more to praise about this place, but i don't want to make it even more popular than it is already to make sure it doesn't book out too quickly.

This 4 star hotel is set in the centre of Traunkrichen. The hotel offers accommodation with lake views, a restaurant, a terrace and a garden. Everything was great. Breakfast was especially rich. Excellent restaurant offer, including national cuisine. I especially recommend trying the lamb schnitzel, it was wonderful. The staff is very accommodating. The place is great. Right on the shore of the lake.
