The Landlord was above and beyond to make sure we have a pleasant stay. We had our towels replaced everyday. Plenty of space to roam around the house. Parking space outside the property. Very relaxing time. The swimming pool is 3 minutes walk to the Waterfalls park entrance. We had fully fitted kitchen with pans plates kettle and fridge to our use. Remember to take tea bags from England as in Bulgaria their daily drink is Coffee. There is an amazing Restaurant in Hote Catleya Relax Zone . So you can cook in the morning breakfast yourself and you can eat at that hotel in the evening. Kitchen closes at 10.30pm. Local shop is 7 minutes walk and you can pay by card. In the village on Friday there is an open discotheque in one of the restaurants. We stayed 5 nights and we didn't want to leave.

The place was a paradise on earth! We regretted having only one stay. Very clean! The surrounding areas were very beautiful with a river nearby.

The 3-star Alfaresort Palace Chiflika is located in the heart of the Central Balkan, in Chiflik Village, 20 km from Troyan. Everything was so good and cozy! Staff was so friendly and welcoming to us. I asked them to prepare special surprise for my husband’s birthday and they were very polite and nice to me! We had a great time together and definitely enjoyed it!

The 4-star design Hotel Diplomat Plaza is in the centre of Lukovit. It features a spa centre, a heated indoor pool and free WiFi in all areas. Amazing place, truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. The style is that of a Las Vegas hotel, with rich decorations, themed rooms and halls, multiple works of art on diplay (most of them can be purchased) even in rooms. Large rooms, large bathrooms all amenities functional, most of the staff capable of speaking English. The hotel is a most unlikely appearance for such a small provincial town in the northern ( less developed) part of Bulgaria. I think it serves a starting ground for many guided tour activities to the amazing neighboring natural area of the Prohodna Cave. It serves thus, mainly groups of wealthy foreign tourists. The spa area is also nice. The parking area is sufficient. I only stayed here for one night as a rest stop on our returning route from Greece, but I'll be coming back for sure.
