Jackalberry is right next to the water- that’s why I selected it. However the staff and service was amazing.

Overlooking the Lesoma Valley in the Chobe District, Elephant Valley Lodge offers accommodation in Kasane. This lodge boasts an infinity pool and a deck that overlooks a waterhole. Lovely and helpful host with very well trained staff who were always helpful. Lovely location overlooking its own waterholes and a steady movement of game animals in/out which made for remarkable sights. Excellent game drives with very knowledgeable drivers. All round a great experience!

Location along the river is great and the rooms very well appointed and roomy. Outstanding breakfast buffet, and staff very helpful in arranging take-away breakfasts and lunches formal day excursions. Buffet dinners at Sududu Grill were good, but not outstanding. It is a very big complex spread out across to main lodges.

Outstanding gardens, clean pools, clean rooms, air conditioning, the breakfast was an added bonus and you can also order dinner. The host is extremely amazing and kind. You can book a variety of activities through the hotel and they all worth it. The activity guides are well informed and extremely kind.

This is a hidden gem if you are looking for Self catering Facilities in Kasane . The rooms are large and well equipped with creature comforts . The staff is very friendly and happy to consider all your requests . We met Rati in the front office and she was super helpful. The breakfast spread is adequate and the walk to the river jetty is quite rewarding for birds . There is a resident large group of banded mongooses who are super cute and on their own . The trees in the property are filled with weaver bird nests and there is a raucous group of Grey Turacos and Mouse birds who will keep you rapt with attention at their antics . The restaurant also serves lunch & dinner and has room service although a limited menu.
