The stand-out aspect of this hotel for us was the quality of the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful at all points throughout our stay (from having complementary apples in the lobby, to helping with luggage to and from the room/taxi, to also bringing us the amenities we requested directly to our room, to getting us new rental bikes when we discovered a problem with one of them), and were available to help at any hour of the day. They were also able to safely store our luggage for over a day when we took a day trip to Victoria before returning to stay one more night. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice coffee machine (and pods) included. The view from the room was also quite nice, and there were plenty of facilities available (pool, sauna, hot tub) for those wanting to spend more time at the hotel and relax. For the affordable price, the hospitality and slight feeling of luxury provided completely exceeded my expectations.

This Vancouver hotel offers an on-site restaurant and bar. Keurig coffee machine and refrigerator are included in each room. Vancouver Convention Centre is 5 minutes’ walk away. Great hotel, not a big but in a very central location. Room was well sized with living area. I really liked the statement in the elevator from general manager - it gave me some confidence that stay should pass smoothly. Breakfast was a la carte, reasonable, sitting outside was also pleasant during this time of the year.

Overlooking Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour, this historic hotel features extensive spa treatments and a selection of on-site restaurants. The Royal British Columbia Museum is 5 minutes' walk away.... The Empress has been renovated since we last stayed in 2010 - the facelift has been done with grace and taste, and with respect for the history of this grand old lady whilst bringing the hotel into the modern era. The corridors to the rooms are almost never ending, with interesting historical photographs, furniture and artefacts tastefully displayed to add to the sense of the past merging with the present. The location of The Empress is central and picturesque, and at the time we visited, the hotel was prettily decorated for the festive season. Our room was spacious and comfortable and included thoughtful touches such as a cork yoga mat and bathrobes / slippers. We enjoyed High Tea which is a celebrated ritual associated with this institution and even the non-tea drinkers developed a new appreciation for tea!

Featuring lake views, Salish B&B and Spa provides accommodation with pool with a view, massage services and a garden, around 16 km from The Old Woodshed Kelowna. It was everything great. Alfonso is such a nice person und great host. He fullfield us every wish. He did every morning e frehs breakfast We feel like home. The B&B was so beautiful, clean with such e nice atmosphere. The hottube and swimmingpool was really nice.
