The staff were exceptional, they are wonderfully considerate and very attentive. Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

Located just opposite the shores of Lake Maggiore, Park Hotel Italia offers an outdoor pool and a fully furnished garden with sun loungers. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

This hotel is amazing. From check in to check out I have not one bad thing to say. We arrived at the train station and just had to call the hotel to bring us via private transport. We got a free upgrade to a deluxe family room which was great. I cannot fault this stay at all would highly recommend.

Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms.

Excellent room, large bed, comfy mattress and pillows. Large enough bathroom with clean towels every day and great shower. Decent size balcony with great views. Lovely garden areas and interior decor. Excellent staff.
