Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is located in the centre of Lausanne and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva. The Fine Arts Museum is 10 minutes away from the hotel. **A Luxurious Stay at Royal Savoy Lausanne** We recently spent two nights at the Royal Savoy Hotel in Lausanne. The hotel is truly excellent, exuding luxury and elegance in every detail. We appreciated that pets are allowed, as we traveled with our well-behaved small dog. However, despite the impeccable service and opulent surroundings, we couldn't shake the feeling that we didn't quite belong amidst such grandeur. The atmosphere, while sophisticated, felt a bit too formal for us. After our two-night stay, we decided to move to the Novotel Bussigny. There, we found a more relaxed and comfortable ambiance that suited us better. The experience at Novotel was more in line with our preferences, allowing us to unwind and enjoy our stay to the fullest. In summary, Royal Savoy is perfect for those seeking a luxurious and upscale experience. For us, however, the more laid-back environment at Novotel Bussigny was a better fit. Jelena Ostojic

Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. Very clean and comfortable, staff was very gracious. Nice views over the lake (if you book a lake view room), nice spa. We didn't try the breakfast as we're not big on breakfast so for us the CHF 45 a head seemed steep. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Complimentary assortment of drinks in the room. We had a suite for us and two kids, the extra beds for the kids are proper beds that were very comfortable not a fold out sofa. Room size was 50+m2 so still spacious even with 4

One of the most amazing experiences. It was like staying with family. Lucia’s check in instructions were so clear and she made sure to be there to greet us. The studio apartment has absolutely everything you need for a short stay. Full kitchen (they put all kinds of condiments in the fridge). Everything looked new and beautifully done. There is a sitting area over looking the lake. We loved our time here and would return in a heart beat. Thank you Lucia and Jordi for your amazing hospitality.

Great little studio with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are also so incredibly kind, and even drove me to the train station when my pre-planned transport fell through. They really go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Incredible views of the lake as well!

Set within 17 km of Train station Montreux and 42 km of Evian Masters Golf Club in Aigle, B&B L'Eden offers accommodation with seating area. Great breakfasts with variety of local charcuterie and cheeses, fruits, fresh local breads, eggs were offered as well

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Château de Mathod Chambres d'hôtes is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Mathod, 36 km from Palais de Beaulieu. Everything. The photos on the app don’t give this place justice. Fabulously renovated rooms with nice amenities such as locally made soaps and such, a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers. There is a pool and the hosts make you feel at home.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, La Commanderie is a guest house situated in a historic building in Cossonay, 22 km from Palais de Beaulieu. Great value and very friendly management

The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. Fantastic breakfast, staff and room. Worth a return visit.

Situated in Vevey, 5.6 km from Train station Montreux, Grand Hotel du Lac - Relais & Châteaux features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. It has been an absolute delight to stay in this beautiful, quaint hotel by the lake and riviera. I was traveling alone but decided to still take a junior suite for the full experience and it did not disappoint. The crisp air and views have been healing. A special mention to Sebastian in F&B and Room Service for his kindness and making sure my meals were joyful. I would come back here in a heartbeat. 💓
