However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

We stayed for 3 nights and our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the whole island. Our room was in a great position, overlooking the pool, was comfortable and air conditioned. The hotel’s garden, food and cocktails were all brilliant. A taxi into Hanga Roa was only 5000 CLP. We hired a car from the hotel for the day so we could explore ourselves. We then had a half day excursion with a brilliant guide the following day. She was the president of (I think) the tourism board in Rapa Nui. Learning and seeing the Moais was definitely the highlight of the trip.

I came to Rapa Nui to celebrate my Birthday with family and friends. Nayara Hangaroa is a dream hotel on a dream island. Everything was amasing, you wouldn't want to leave the hotel! Especially surprising and sweet was the Birthday compliment with a personal touch.

Situated in Hanga Roa and only 1.4 km from Playa Pea, Tahai Loft Apart Hotel features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Tahai Loft is brand new. Valentina welcomed us and we felt at home from the first moment. The room was wonderful, decorated with fresh hibiscus flowers and a hand written welcome note and reflected the tropical paradise of Rapa Nui around us. In the room there was everything one would need during the stay. Cooker, kettle, toaster, fridge, dishes, pots and cutlery. Even Nespresso capsules were provided. The hotel is located at the very end of Hanga Roa, very close to Ahu Tahai where one can witness the most beautiful sunset of Rapa Nui. During our stay works of installing a pool were ongoing, so very soon the hotel will also feature an outdoor pool. The city centre is a 20 minute walk along the coast away, passing Ahu Tahai and the city beach and the harbour where one can spot a turtle family of three who lives there. Māuru-uru for everything. We will definitely be back at Rapa Nui and Tahai Loft.
