The room had a stunning view of the mountains, and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better—right near the park entrance and nestled in a beautiful valley, just a short walk from the river. The spa is great, featuring a large pool, saunas, and relaxing massages. The food throughout our stay was very good. The cozy lobby with a fireplace and scenic view made it a great spot to unwind, we enjoyed spending some time on the outdoor terrace with a traditional music and lamb on the grill. Horse riding was a highlight for our kid.

Kitchen great. Ideal for a couple, but I stayed with a friend and the bed was very spacious. Very nice and communicative host.

Located in Punta Arenas, one of the most southernly points in Chile, Hotel Diego de Almagro offers accommodations on the coast of the Magellan Strait. Great price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.
