First of all, it’s beautiful! I didn’t expect this kind of style from Hyatt—they usually go for some kind of gold-plated extravagance. But here, it feels like you’re in a chic bookstore. By the way, they actually sell books—there are absolutely stunning art, design, and fashion coffee-table books. Second, the rooms are incredibly comfortable; everything is smart and thought out down to the smallest detail. Even all kinds of chargers are already plugged in for you by the bed. The shower is the size of my kitchen. A gorgeous breakfast and good tea available around the clock. And most importantly—the price. It feels like an 8-star hotel (there’s a spa and a pool, by the way). Price-wise, it’s a European two-star. $90 a night. Fantastic. It’s located right at the airport—perfect!

This hotel is absolute winner when looking to survive through the long layover in Bejing. We had 9 hours to spare, arriving at the airport at 18h. Shuttle (free) drove us to hotel, room was luxurious. Since we left in the middle of the night, kind receptionist arranged a breakfast to go for us. Amazing choice of food, I can only imagine what would it be in the morning. We chose this hotel because of the swimming pool so our kids would enjoy some active time before continuing our trip. Pool was empty the whole time, you just have to wear a swimming cap (bring your own or buy one at the spa reception).

It is located in a hutong area which gives it a relaxed neighbourhood in the middle of the busy capital. The hotel itself is tastefully done with nice touches on the interior design, but the real highlight is the very nice and helpful staff. Looking forward to visit again!

The landloard are simply the best people I have met on my way so far. They helped me a lot and they dedicated me a lot of time. Unfortunately someone had stolen my phone while I was visiting Great Wall of China and the girl working at Garden Guesthouse came with me to look for it and called the Police for me who finally manage fo find it. Great Wall of China is just 20 min walking from the Guesthouse and the accomodation is very nice with a lovely Garden and a swimmingpool and biliard table.. Also beds are comfortable and toilets clean equipped with shower soups. Also there is restaurant to have lunch and dinner if you need with economic prices. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend this place.
