40 km from Parque Nacional Santa Rosa, Amazilia Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Liberia and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We received a warm welcome from Mario. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - on one occasion he arranged an evening meal reservation for us at Rancho Don Luis (they opened up just to accommodate us and the other couple staying at Amazilia). Our room was an adequate size - the wide bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well (though the water wasn't hot). We made very good use of the lovely pool area. The dining area was great and we enjoyed the breakfasts - the cook was also responsible for cleaning the rooms and the property and she did a great job. Amazilia is ideally located for Parque Nacional Rinco de la Vieja - unfortunately, during our stay, the park was closed due to the excessive rainfall Costa Rica had been having. We ate 3 times at nearby Rancho Los Gavilanes - it has a lovely setting by a river.

Beautiful property with amazing amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking. Also, tea and coffee provided by the host. Also, fresh picked fruit from the land was offered by the host. The facility has a lovely pool, great parking spots and super nice and clean rooms.

Located in Playa Junquillal, 600 metres from Junquillal Beach, Blue Window Boutique Villas Hotel features a garden and views of the garden. I had the best time here!!! The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))
