If you are in Bad Krozingen for a mutual Therme facilities, make sure you bring your own (rubber) slippers. Also, be careful with the Sun. Cold weather doesn't bother you because most outer pools are with hot water, but even the lightest sun beams will get you sun burns. Therme has a good concept of payment so you don't need cash or cards inside - great relief. Even smoking areas are available (I have noticed 2), so you are covered in that respect if you are smoker.

The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
