Offering an indoor pool, sauna facilities as well as free Wi-Fi, this hotel welcomes its guests in the scenic Klingenthal valley. A cozy countryside hotel. We stayed for a single night and arrived a bit late - the restaurant was nearly empty and the kitchen closed, but we were given an "emergency" dinner of Wiener sausages and bread, so I had to appreciate the extra mile the staff was ready to take. The beer was very good and the staff helpful. The room was spacious, with a tiny bathroom that looked too small but worked alright. The room overlooked the hotel parking and the street in front. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of foods to choose from.

The Vitalhotel Weisse Elster is a 10-minute walk from the town centre and spa park in Bad Elster. The 3-star-Superior hotel offers modern rooms, an indoor pool, and several leisure/health facilities. The hotel restaurant for a la carte dinner is really good and excellent value. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with nice service. Was offered a table in that restaurant for breakfast on 2nd day and it is very much nicer than the main service space. Room was very spacious and comfortable.

This 4-star hotel offers a large spa centre and modern rooms with designer furniture. It is a 10-minute walk from the Bad Brambach train station, in the Erzgebirge-Vogtland Nature Park. Used it as a base for cycling weekend so did not spend time as typical spa guest. But the food, quiet and thermal pool was a nice bonus after a day in the woods. Nobody was in a rush and despite my 50+ age I was among younger visitors which is getting less and less common for me :)
