This hotel has been absolutely amazing! It’s literally just two minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple — the perfect location. The property is new, beautiful, and spotless, with a stunning infinity pool overlooking the desert and Lake Nasser. Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

A special thanks to Abdullah, the Front Office Manager, for his professionalism and kindness, and Mr. Nasr Hashem, the Ship Manager, for running such a high-quality and well-organized cruise. Lake Nasser is truly one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, and I strongly believe it is a destination everyone should visit at least once. The Prince Abbas , Lake Nasser cruises is among the most beautiful cruises in the world, and I highly recommend this experience to everyone. I will definitely come back again, and I highly recommend it to all travelers.

The first thing I'd like to highlight at Basma Hotel was the staff. They were truly exceptional, starting from the reception team (especially Mariam!) over the guest relations team led by Reham and the kitchen staff led by Sayed. Before our stay, I requested a quiet room as high up as possible with a soft bed, and they went above and beyond: They even added a super-soft mattress topper to make the bed extra comfortable and cosy. Whenever I had an issue or concern, the team responded right away and genuinely did their very best to help. We were placed on the highest floor possible, with an incredible view over the Nile and the pool. Waking up to that view felt magical. Everyone was genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming to the point where I actually made friends during our stay. A truly special experience.
