Oh my God, what a place. We lived every part of it. The Nubian style of the building is mesmerising. The views of the river Nile are breathtaking. The beautiful cute Nubian colourful rooms are heartwarming. The food was excellent. And above all, the staff were just beautiful people inside out. We felt at home, and we are definitely going back. If you are looking for the perfect retreat, that is the place to regain your peace. It is a true definition of paradise.

El Sofitel Legend Old Cataract se encuentra en el desierto de Nubia, a orillas del Nilo, frente a la isla Elefantina, y ofrece habitaciones y suites elegantes. Everything! Location, history, fabulous rooms, great pool, nice spa, and staff went beyond their duties in helpfulness and kindness, especially Fariouz in reception. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and other dining options as well. Best hotel I have ever stayed in. 😀

This hotel has been absolutely amazing! It’s literally just two minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple — the perfect location. The property is new, beautiful, and spotless, with a stunning infinity pool overlooking the desert and Lake Nasser. Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

The host Eslem is very friendly and helpful , also his cousin and friend. The location of this Nubian house is very close to the city center, like 10-15 min walk. A supermarket is also very close. There are two rooms and toilets to share. Everything is good.

Lake Nasser is truly one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, and I strongly believe it is a destination everyone should visit at least once. The Prince Abbas , Lake Nasser cruises is among the most beautiful cruises in the world, and I highly recommend this experience to everyone. I will definitely come back again, and I highly recommend it to all travelers.

We took a cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The cruise staff are all friendly and willing to help, including reception, housekeeping, and all staff in the restaurant. We felt at home with a big family. When we didn't have lunch, the hotel even left the full package of lunch at our room. The facility is modern and clean. We spent great time during this journey.

When I mentioned that I am a Christian, they informed me it was Christmas Eve and kindly arranged transportation for me to attend a Christmas celebration at a local Coptic Church, which was a very special experience. The people there were warm, welcoming, and full of joy. It truly felt like home away from home. I had a room with a balcony and a breathtaking sunset view, and the hotel also organized a local dinner for me. I felt genuinely pampered and well cared for throughout my stay. Five stars for their care, friendliness, and professionalism.
