The resort is located a bit far but easily reached by a free tuk tuk provided by the resort. Having said that it’s location has the most breathtaking views. The resort is very well maintained, beautifully built and complimented by it’s decor and vibrant colours. Breakfast and dinner was of good quality and we truly loved having dinner overlooking an incredible view. The pool is a plus to the resort and we happen to use it alot.Last but not least the staff are super friendly and helpful. Situated in Aswan, Bakar House features accommodation with a private pool. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The villa has family rooms. Very nice authentic house. Big comfortable beds (two can sleep at one bed). Pool is wondeful addition. Washing machine also. Owner was very kind, trustful and available from the moment od booking. We have landed in the middle of the night and he organized transport and checked if we were ok. Hot water for shower was ready for us. There is AC but no heating, and our February night was a bit cold. Warm new blankets were provided, though it would be essential to put light sheet under the blankets that could be changed, too. Rooms were very clean but owner should try to clean the kitchen and dishes a bit better and improve bathroom (specially floors) if possible. Short walk to the Nubian Museum. Despite the surrounding area is quite unclean, with trash along the street, I felt safe walking alone and people were polite.

The ship has beautiful wooden decks. The interior of the rooms is a bit old-fashioned, but it's well kept and clean. Our room was very quiet. The buffet was quite good, lots of choice and good quality. You also get to taste some local food.

The view to the river Nile could not be more beautiful from anywhere else from the room and rooftop also. The staff was really helpful and nice to us:) It has everything that a guest can wish. Absolutely a place that I can suggest.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. The bedroom was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view, and the dinner at the Italian restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly.
