Hospes Palacio de Arenales dates back to the 17th century and was formally the holiday residence of a noble family. This 5-star hotel offers a wellness centre and spa. Lovely hotel with wonderful grounds. Excellent stopover with our dog. Dog friendly area in the restaurant and lots of paths to walk her. Could not have been better.

Located in a quiet and pretty residential area of Cáceres, this elegant hotel offers free Wi-Fi and chic rooms. The outdoor pool is set within gardens. This is a hotel that rightly deserves its 4 stars. Although it’s exterior architecture is not to my taste, every effort has been made inside to create beautiful spaces - in the common areas, the breakfast room, the hotel room (we were upgraded to a huge Junior suite) and even the hallways. The buffet breakfast was the most extensive and delicious we have had in our time in Spain, with lots of healthy options. We had a light dinner in the restaurant (due to the usual late hour in Spain) and were very impressed by the menu options and food quality. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. Close to historical center. Swimming pool, outstanding cultural building, nice to roam inside the hotel

This accommodation is situated in a majestic building, an old convent dating from the 17th century, in Valle del Ambroz in the north of the province of Cáceres. Very close from all the sites. Very nice surroundings to walk around and take pictures. The staff especially Christina went out of her way to drive us to the bus terminal : something to remember

It is big, with two floors, a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a downstairs and upstairs bathroom and a very comfy double bed. The highlight of our stay was a spa bath which worked perfectly, with plenty of hot water thanks to a huge boiler. Everything was clean and worked well. The apartment looks modern and cosy. The aircon worked really well and was quiet. Overall, the flat was gorgeous and we would stay again. The outside area is also nice, with lots of barbecues and seating area. The private car park is big. It is also a very quiet area with nice countryside. Apart from an occasional car passing by, you can only hear the lovely sounds of the countryside: donkeys, chickens, sheep... Plus we were staying off-season and we alone 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed so it was extra quiet. It was a relaxing stay.

Modern and clean. It was close walking distance to everything. Enjoyed sitting in the plaza each evening taking in the ambiance of the location.
