El Hipotels Gran Playa de Palma está situado en Playa de Palma y ofrece vistas al mar y pileta exterior de temporada. Location: You can easily walk to Palma beach in just 5 minutes. The beach is absolutely stunning with its turquoise color and soft sand — it truly amazed us. You can rent two sunbeds and an umbrella for €18. The hotel is less than a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. Instead, I suggest walking 10 minutes to the Mercadona market — it has a wide selection and reasonable prices. Since we were traveling with our 18-month-old baby, we couldn’t join the nightlife, but there are plenty of places to party near the hotel. Room: The room was absolutely beautiful. It was very spacious and the furniture looked new. I also watched how thoroughly they cleaned a room after a guest checked out, and our room was cleaned nicely every day. We were right near the party places but sound isolation was good enough for blocking them. Food: Dinner had great variety overall. For a buffet, it was about as good as it gets. I wasn’t expecting 10/10 food from a buffet, but I’d rate it around 7–8. Breakfast had slightly less variety, but it wasn’t a problem for us. For families with children: This hotel isn’t fully tailored for children, but there were still enough activities to satisfy us. For example, there’s a playroom you can take your child to at any time of day. Even though our baby is quite young, the staff at the mini-disco in the evenings made every effort to ensure he had fun — they played and danced with him. There’s also a small children’s pool and a section of the large pool that’s about 40 cm deep, where our son had a great time. Staff: The hotel staff were truly friendly and cheerful. They always smiled at our son and tried to play with him. Everyone was kind and welcoming throughout our stay.

El Apartotel Ponent Mar es un aparthotel de 4 estrellas con estacionamiento privado gratuito, spa y piscinas cubierta y al aire libre. Hay wifi gratis en todas las zonas comunes. The location is gorgeous and the architecture of the aparthotel is beautiful, and different from all the other hotels we could see in Palmanova. Ponent Mar looks like a jewel on a rock. The breakfast was AWESOME - lots of choice (if I think only about the eggs choice: cold boiled egg; hot boiled egg; spanish omelette; french omelette; on-demand omelette with your ingredients of choice; scrambled eggs; fried eggs). I can highly recommend this breakfast - really, really good value for money. The studio we had was well equipped, the kitchenette was useful during some evening when we decided to eat in our room. Also, it was handy to have the kettle to brew our own teas. We had a pool view, and after the pool we could see the sea, including the sunrise - wonderful. The hotel has a mini-market in the basement for the essentials, and there's a huge Mercadona supermarket 3 minutes by car (or 10 on foot) where you can buy whatever food you want. Plenty of choice and good prices. At floor nine you have an incredible 360 degrees view over Palmanova bay and the sea. And at each floor there are public areas with sunbeds where you can chill during the day, with a great view. Also, the fact that the hotel was organizing various activities during the day and the evening gave a feeling of liveliness. We didn't stay at the concerts, but it was nice to hear them when coming back in the evening or walking around the complex. Everyone in the hotel was very nice and helpful, and polite - at the reception, the room service, the breakfast and bar staff. Also, I recommend talking a massage. Frank the masseur was a very nice person. And the Spa facilities were quite nice as well - sauna, hammam, water massage, heated chairs etc (all included).
