The Hotel Los Cigarrales is surrounded by a pretty green area 1.5 km outside of Toledo's historic centre. Its simple Castillian decor is complemented by modern services such as free Wi-Fi internet throughout. Super convenient to visit the walled city. Bus stop was right in front of the hotel. Parking is either in front of the hotel or directly across the street. Super safe neighborhood. Staff provided me with map, bus schedule and knew what the fare was. Room was remodeled and stylish. Great mattress. Pillows were hard.

From here, you can marvel at the views of the historical centre of Toledo, including its famous cathedral. Amazing view from the balcony and restaurant! Great breakfast, very good restaurant. Overall very good hotel. Probably the best in Toledo.

Accommodation for disabled guests is also available at the property. Absolutely beautiful accommodation. The furniture, fittings and décor are all first class. And then you add your own private courtyard with a small pool; well you wont want to leave. A perfect place to relax after a day exploring Toledo and the surrounding area by car. Street parking was easy and not an issue. There are a couple of small bars within a few hundred metres where we had a nice lunch but we prepared some meals in the fantastic kitchen of the apartment. Big supermarket about a 10 minute easy drive away.

We arrived extremely tired after a long drive from Portugal . The house was warm, cosy, extremely well furnished, the bedroom/ shower area are open to each other, after 57 years of marriage this was no problem! The shower was like a therapy session, hot and relaxing. Breakfast was self service with plenty of selection, cereals, ham serrano, toast, marmalades, and a huge selection of teas and a coffee maker. In summer the outside area would be excellent.
