Our stay at Gáldu was truly magical, from the moment we arrived we were met with such a warm welcome. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, they taught us about Finish and Sami culture which was brilliant. Our room was spotless and had the most amazing views of the forest. The Gáldu team organised excursions for us to do which were fantastic (snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky sledding) and gave us other suggestions about what to do on the days we didn’t have anything booked. The food was exceptional and we went for full board, we were truly spoiled by each person we met. Our beds were so comfortable and we had the most amazing sleep each night. We spent every afternoon enjoying the spa which was extremely luxurious. They really made our trip so special. The hotel is the perfect viewing spot for the northern lights, we saw them so clearly from our bedroom on the last night.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, free bikes and a garden, Arctic Garden Design Villa can be found in Rovaniemi, close to Arktikum Science Centre and 6.8 km from Santa Park. Host was lovely and very welcoming, and super helpful at giving us advice on the area. Accommodation was cosy and beautifully decorated, everything you needed was there. Great location to stay, close to santa Claus village, town and supermarket. Jacuzzi and ice plunge was a fab optional extra, plus the host does all his own excursions so super easy to book anything. Absolutely amazing, can't wait to go back.

Featuring a bar and views of garden, Seita Mökki, Äkäslompolo is a recently renovated holiday home located in Äkäslompolo, 37 km from Kolari Train Station. Very cosy cottage with nice fireplace and Sauna. The wifi was first not working but the host, who is vers kind btw, fixed it within 10min.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Levi Fell’s ski slopes, this hotel features Spa Water World which includes pools and saunas. It also has an indoor playing area for children, a gym and a day spa. The block was within walking distance of the reception. Liked that idea so you didn’t have the buzz of reception at every turn.
