The staff were so accommodating and friendly, they taught us about Finish and Sami culture which was brilliant. Our room was spotless and had the most amazing views of the forest. The Gáldu team organised excursions for us to do which were fantastic (snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky sledding) and gave us other suggestions about what to do on the days we didn’t have anything booked. The food was exceptional and we went for full board, we were truly spoiled by each person we met. Our beds were so comfortable and we had the most amazing sleep each night. We spent every afternoon enjoying the spa which was extremely luxurious. They really made our trip so special. The hotel is the perfect viewing spot for the northern lights, we saw them so clearly from our bedroom on the last night.

It is true that breakfast is not in the cottage, but there is an organized transport to breakfast. Sauna and swimming pool are included in the price.
