A beautiful place. Everything was exceptional. We went to Cognac because I wanted to stay at this hotel. From check-in to checkout, everything was great. The room was spacious and luxurious. The staff are professional. The property was beautiful. The food was delicious. They exceeded my expectations. It may be a bit more expensive but you definitely get the first class experience.

Room was huge with a great big bathroom too! I had a fantastic nights sleep - everything was perfect

A beautiful pool and a whole variety of seats in sun and shade to enjoy the garden. A very comfortable room. G & T from the bar to enjoy in the garden. Lovely walks in the lanes nearby with lots of hollyhocks along the outside wall and along the lane. Very near to Ruffec and to the Charente river.

Gorgeous property, really lovely staff, and our room was beautiful. The beautiful pool and the bike ride around the property were highlights, and there was lots to do for both kids and adults. We’d love to stay again!

The stay is basically a garage apartment. The ceilings are low, there is little natural light in the bedroom, because there is only a large window at the front entrance. Everything is provided and clean. The facility shows some use but is well-kept. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, there were three dogs, some of which tried to enter the apartment but left by command. The location is right outside of town. There is a pretty village close-by for an evening stroll. There is also a covered pool: very convenient in the hot summer.
