El Hotel pomo se encuentra en el corazón de los Alpes, a 15 minutos del centro de Grenoble. Se encuentra en la entrada de las carreteras principales que llevan a las famosas estaciones de esquí. 1) Very welcoming receptionist. 2) Beautifully clean throughout with tasteful, festive Xmas decor. 3) Very comfortable bed with tea, coffee and fridge and safe facilities within the room. 4) Probably the best French main course meal I have ever had on my regular visits to France! 5) The English/American music playlist in the restaurant was amazing because so many of the artists and their songs would have been on our own playlist. Clearly selected by their DJ from our era!!!! It made for a very enjoyable evening. 6) Our car was broken into with smashed windows at another hotel near Grenoble last April, so the most important factor this time was safety of our vehicle. The Pomo Hotel was fenced with security gates and 24 hour reception, so we went to sleep believing our car would be safe and it was!

El Château & Spa De La Commanderie está ubicado en un parque arbolado a 15 minutos en auto del centro de Grenoble y cuenta con pileta de temporada al aire libre. Well, every single moment from when we entered the gates to this gorgeous historic establishment was just memorable. We were accompanied to our room which was very spacious, clean and had the most comfortable bed and pillows. View was superb of the chateau. Booked in for 2 hours in the spa for a relaxing time enjoying the warm jet waters, sauna and steam room. This time was most warranted to then laze on a recliner lounge for a much needed afternoon siesta after weeks of travelling. We came via train from Geneva and it was so easy to get the D tram then the C4 bus to the Chateau. We booked in for dinner and chose the 3 course set menu. WOW. Do yourself a favour and sit in amongst the family portraits in the dining room and emmerse yourself back into history. An absolute charm. Food was just stunning as was the service. What a delight. This place was so quiet and tranquil, and gave us as travellers the time we needed to unwind and relax Hats off to you guys and all the staff. ❤️
