Ideally located in the Latin Quarter, Hotel Grand Cœur Latin offers 75 rooms and suites nicely decorated and well equipped: air conditioning, in-room coffee and tea, a safe deposit box, and... I had a perfect stay at Grand Coeur. Although it's expensive on the Australian dollar, it was totally, totally worth it. The staff were pleasant and generous, the room was completely and utterly silent (no stress or adjacent room noise), and a good size for a short stay. The decor is beautiful, too. I loved the finer touches like the heating rack for towels in the bathroom, the complimentary Evian water, and the slippers and robe for accessing what can only be described as the most beautiful indoor pool. The location is also fantastic. Having been to Paris several times now, I've had the privilege of staying in a range of areas near to and far from the Seine. This spot is great - it's a quiet street, really close to the best pizza in Paris (Luisa Maria) and a gorgeous stroll away from the best coffee (10 Belles). I'll be staying here again the next time I am in Paris.

Our visit was during the festive season and the hotel captured the spirit of the "City of Lights" The choice of restaurants was first class and the food and wine choices excellent.
