We traveled along the north coast of France for a week, and this was, without a doubt, the best accommodation we stayed in. A beautiful place with a big garden and free-roaming chickens, dogs, and cats. We were also lucky to have a fantastic dinner on-site. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the area.

The place is very easy to find and location is very close to the train station and most places. Safe place for solo travellers and the host was very helpful. Clean room with necessary amenities and a coffee maker. My train was at 6AM and I had heavy bags and couldnt get a taxi at that time and host host very kindly gave a ride to the train station. Upon arrival they give you a city map and explain the easiest routes to get there which is helpful.

O Château du Romerel - Baie de Somme oferece quartos em Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. A propriedade dispõe de lounge compartilhado e terraço ao ar livre. The Chateau is stunning, set in beautiful gardens well away from the road with off street parking. We were welcomed by Justine who showed us where we would breakfast as well as the beautiful lounge where we could make a tea or coffee. We had booked the Blue Room on the first floor which has a double aspect on the corner of the house. The bed was a super king and super comfortable. The rain shower was lovely as was the bathroom. The room has a desk and sofa which made it very comfortable. The toilet is separate- very handy. The Chateau is very quiet, we heard no noise from other rooms, so we slept very well. Breakfast was typically French with fresh baguette, pastries, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, eggs if you wanted and great coffee. A wonderful place which we highly recommend.
