In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The Staff are so Friendly. The room was a good size at the front. Loved the pool area and outside Jacuzzi which I only just learned was hot!!! Food Amazing. Love Manuel! He rec my haddock brekkie and was perfect. Comfy lounge bar.Booked again for December!!!

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... Lovely room with view of Lake Windermere. Excellent breakfast. Pub evening meal was great. Second time we have stayed at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

It was small but beautiful accomodation in a postcard worthy environment - stunning rolling green hills, sheep and lovely people. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. We loved it!

Hapimag Burnside Park Apartments is a luxury self-catering property. The accommodation is notable for its prime location in Bowness on Windermere, right at the heart of the English Lake District. A beautiful apartment. Very clean and very spacious. In walking distance to the shops and the lake. We will definitely be returning

The Old Vicarage ligger i Ambleside, 10 kilometer fra World of Beatrix Potter fornøyelsespark og 17 kilometer fra Windermere. A very warm welcome into a stunning period building. Ample parking right outside. Very spacious room, with comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. A good sized mini fridge was a bonus, alongside a good TV. The pre order breakfast option delivered to your room worked great, especially travelling with our dog! Hotel very walkable to local pubs and eateries. Would recommend for a stay in Ambleside.

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. Fantastic location. Lovely rooms and great breakfast. Use of the spa was also a great bonus. Great value for money.

The Quaysiders Lakes Resort - Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Really clean, good location, free parking, spacious room and friendly service.
