The environment was good, the staff was friendly, parking was provided, especially Chris :) helped us a lot by helping us complete the tire change when we had a flat tire, saving a lot of time and giving us a smooth ride

It did not disappoint. Very comfy relaxed place in ideal location. Very friendly staff ( they did washing for us at no cost) and wonderful breakfasts. They are happy for you to bring take away meals in and provide plates etc. lovely atmosphere in a historic setting.

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. The lounge area was used a lot as our family got together and had wine and nibbles and played games. The bedrooms were beautiful. Bonnie was helpful and friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was good.
