There are plenty of bathrooms (always clean), a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely pool, and an excellent location — close to everything you need in Chania. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is very nice, luxurious and brand new (clean!) and the bed was really good. The staff really goes the extra mile, they even helped us find a parking space (he parked the accommodation car elsewhere!). One day we used their breakfast: they bring it to your room, it was very nice and plenty enough (we still had for lunch). The accommodation is very well located. Just 5 minutes of walking to the bus station (so we took the airport shuttle to the hotel) and few minutes more walking you are in the old town. A supermarket is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel (if you go out of the hotel, turn left). We liked the fact that it was only 10 minutes walk to the "busy" old town but that we were staying at a quiet location. And if you are planning to do the Samaria gorge: then you will enjoy the Hamam in your room after that walk!! (that was really nice). On our last day we could use the swimming pool after our check out. So we could relax and swim before our flight back.

Location is excellent. It is away from the busy old town but close enough to walk with options to walk to many beach side restaurants in the other direction. Room was very quiet however in early morning there was noise due to construction in the area.

In my opinion, Phos Hotel is simply the best hotel in Agia Marina – hands down. No other hotel in the area can match it in terms of design, equipment, location, or service. I’ve stayed in around 10 different hotels here over the years, and nothing comes close to the level of comfort and quality Phos offers. I’ve known this hotel since before it officially opened, and I’m still impressed every time I visit. Everything is well thought-out, modern, and beautiful – from the rooms to the shared spaces. The staff is exceptional: warm, attentive, and always professional. The location is ideal – close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet peaceful and quiet. If you’re looking for a place that truly combines style, comfort, and authentic Greek hospitality, Phos is the one. I can’t recommend it enough – this is where you want to stay in Agia Marina.
