The entire place was impeccably clean, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options every morning, and we looked forward to it each day. The staff at Nautilux Rethymno are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special mention to Liana, who gave us fantastic suggestions on things to do in the area. Her recommendations truly enhanced our experience and we enjoyed exploring Rethymno and the area immensely. We wholeheartedly recommend Nautilux Rethymno to anyone planning to visit Rethymno. It's a perfect choice for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

Enorme Santanna Beach bevindt zich in Ierápetra, op 1 minuten lopen van Strand Livadi, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een... Elk aspect van dit verblijf was fantastisch. De ontvangst. De (swim-up)kamer met mooi uitzicht op de zee. Het diner (met oog voor de lokale keuken). Het ontbijt. We hebben vrij snel gebruik gemaakt van de mogelijkheid om een extra nacht te boeken en dit heeft ons niet gespeten.

Het Menta City Boutique Hotel is gelegen in de stad Rethimnon. Het biedt gratis WiFi, een seizoensgebonden buitenbad, een eigen bar en een zonnige ontbijtruimte op het dak. Het was een warm welkom op de eerste dag. We werden alle dagen meer dan hartelijk en goed geholpen. Ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk en ook hier was er altijd een hartelijke groet en/of praatje. Het was de hele week heerlijk weer en met de prima huurauto hebben we veel gedaan en gezien. En overal een raki van de zaak om ons te zeggen: jullie zijn hier welkom. Echt geweldig.

Cocoon City Hostel ligt in Chania en biedt een gemeenschappelijke lounge en gratis WiFi. The best hostel. It's as you see in the photos and even better. Good atmosphere. Excellent kitchen, you have two full kitchens. Good bathroom. Excellent bed and dorms. All clean, they clean frequently.

Our stay at Archipelagos Hotel in Rethymno was nothing short of exceptional. Although it’s officially rated as a 4-star hotel, for us, it felt every bit like a 5-star experience — and more. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel’s manager, Mr. Stelios. He greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel at home right away. Throughout our stay, he was constantly present, offering thoughtful recommendations for places to eat, beaches to visit, and local attractions we might have otherwise missed. Thanks to his insight, we got to explore the real, vibrant side of Crete — not just the touristy parts. Stelios has a rare gift. He understands people, anticipates their needs, and makes you feel like more than just a guest — he makes you feel like a friend. You can tell he's been in this business for a long time, and he truly loves what he does. We've already promised to return in the next couple of years, this time with our child — and I can’t wait to see Stelios again and experience his warm hospitality once more. The hotel itself is spotless. Our room was recently renovated — everything smelled fresh and new, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the view... breathtaking. One of the best in Rethymno. The spacious balcony was also a great bonus. The breakfast was fresh and diverse every morning, with options for every taste. The food by the pool was a huge (and delicious) surprise — high-quality, beautifully prepared, and served quickly. The entire staff was polite, efficient, and always ready to help. Housekeeping was impeccable — not just surface-level cleaning, but real attention to detail. Archipelagos isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to feel welcome, to feel cared for, to relax, and to make memories. Mr. Stelios and his team created something special here — and we’ll always be grateful for it.

Het Royal Sun ligt op 3 km van het centrum van Chania en beschikt over een restaurant en een zwembad met een zonneterras omgeven door een tuin met palmbomen. Great location, breathtaking view, nice staff. Highly recomended for everything.

Stella Village ligt op slechts 10 meter van het privéstrand in Analipsi, Chersonissos. Het beschikt over 2 zwembaden met bars bij het zwembad, omringd door kleurrijke tuinen. There is so much to say about this hotel. To start we travelled as a couple and even though it is mainly a family-oriented hotel, it worked perfectly for us! Let’s go in depth for the ones that want to read: FACILITIES: The room we got was fantastic, double room with a balcony and separate toilet and shower. Mini fridge with new beverages almost every day was a nice touch. The pools scattered around the hotel were good, there were separate pools for Stella Village and Stella Palace. One Village pool was separated from the more children-focused ones and was great for us. The bars around were easy to find and use and the drinks and snacks were solid. Restaurants were clean although the main one had seating inside only which made it loud and not too comfortable. The waterpark was also very good, but maybe more for the children (we enjoyed it too :) ) COMFORT Beds and pillows were great, so were the sunbeds, both at the pools and by the beach, which also was a 2 minute walk from our room! LOCATION The hotel is right by the sea, and the beach is more than enough. Nearby is Analipsi, a town with many restaurants that held a super high standard with extremely good service. The service everywhere was really great! Supermarkets are nearby and souvenir shops too. Buses can be found close and the closest car rental was next door, can be recommended since we used it to rent a car for 2 days (50€/day) cheapest was 40€/day. CLEANLINESS The rooms were cleaned daily, the pools were also very clean and so were the restaurants. You could get new towels daily so to stay clean wasn’t a problem at all. VALUE FOR MONEY We booked quite far in advance and paid a good price for 8 nights. All in all I don’t think you could go wrong with the price we paid, the location and the experience we got! STAFF Unreal. 10/10! We first got a room on the ground floor which we thought was a bit unfortunate.
