The room was clean, spacious and well decorated, we enjoyed a quiet room at the end of a wing so no disturbances at all. The food was delicious and great variety and choice. All at reasonable prices.

Good location. Lovely grounds lit up for Christmas, comfortable hotel furnishings of a timeless character and tastey breakfast. Staff were friendly and considerate as we had to cut our stay short due to a bereavement and was not a problem for the staff who facilitated a refund. They were also considerate and kind under the circumstances.
