The best part was the awesome location of the hotel which was besides the river. You can hear the sound of water flowing even from your room and sitting in the balcony is a bliss. You can also go and sit alongside the river and spend hours without distraction. The staff was super courteous and I appreciate all of them, especially Praticksha.

It was wonderful. The beautiful, quiet location really suited us and the stylish contemporary decoration - made it really comfortable. All the facilities were great. Due to the Northern areas of Sikkim being closed we ended up spending 9 nights here in total and enjoyed the pool, the wonderful treatments from Pubyang in the Spa, the dining end evening entertainment in between our excursions. So many fantastic staff, starting with Kishan the duty manager who I spoke to from the UK. He reassured me that their tour guide could handle the pick up from Bagdogra and arrange a driver for all our planned locations. Their in-house tour manager, Sangay Sherpa was amazing, super efficient and took care of all of our transportation needs. He hired the fabulous Praveen Subba who drove us the entire trip, sharing his extensive knowledge and ensuring that as two women travellers we felt completely safe at all times. He’s a star! So many other wonderful staff especially Mingma who prepared the traditional Sikkimese breakfast for us most mornings and Veronica one of the reception managers. The whole team strove to make sure our experience was the best it could be. We very much hope to return.

Joy, the manager is a gem of a person. He was always there for help even before we checked in. The location is though 30 mins away from Gangtok, yet it is a personal preference as I prefer the calmness and nature around the hotel than the hustle bustle of Gangtok.Rooms come with balcony and give you awesome views. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful and will a step further to meet your demands. Excellent property!
