We loved waking up to the beautiful views, and the kids especially enjoyed the pool and the open areas to play. The resort’s layout felt safe and family-friendly, which gave us peace of mind. One of our favorite parts was the food. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We also appreciated how relaxing the entire property felt—quiet corners, greenery, and plenty of places to just sit and enjoy the moment. Overall, Serene Crest Resort gave us exactly the kind of peaceful family getaway we were hoping for. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing escape.

The breakfast and dinner buffet meals were delicious and plentiful. We had two wonderful massages in the spa. We also enjoyed playing games, swimming in the beautiful pools and wandering around the gorgeous grounds. High tea at 5 o’clock on our day of arrival made a spectacular start, and a short climb up to the sunset viewing point made a wonderful end to our stay. We also recommend a visit to the local flower gardens at Ambalavayal Poopoli and the Edakkal Caves.

The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.
