On our trip through the south of the country, we only spent one night here, but we felt very comfortable. The accommodation is fully equipped and exactly as described in the listing and photos. The location was excellent for our route, and another highlight was the great parking, which was very easy.

The location is incredible, being right on the Golden circle and National Park. It was a quaint and clean and well stocked cottage that fit our needs perfectly! Added bonus is the hot tub where you can stargaze and see the Auroras! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we are so incredibly happy we chose it. It easily became one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed — we only wish we could have stayed longer. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We did need to download WhatsApp to open the gate since we didn’t have Icelandic mobile numbers, but once that was sorted everything was seamless. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the space — there were extra towels, lanterns, and so many thoughtful touches that made it feel comfortable and special. Overall though, this place was incredible and we would absolutely stay again. It was such a special spot for our honeymoon.
