Selid cottage was an amazing! The location is incredible, being right on the Golden circle and National Park. It was a quaint and clean and well stocked cottage that fit our needs perfectly! Added bonus is the hot tub where you can stargaze and see the Auroras! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we are so incredibly happy we chose it. It easily became one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed — we only wish we could have stayed longer. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We did need to download WhatsApp to open the gate since we didn’t have Icelandic mobile numbers, but once that was sorted everything was seamless. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the space — there were extra towels, lanterns, and so many thoughtful touches that made it feel comfortable and special. Overall though, this place was incredible and we would absolutely stay again. It was such a special spot for our honeymoon.

Just 15 minutes’ drive from Geysir and 18 km from Gullfoss Waterfall, this property offers modern cottages with free WiFi as well as a restaurant open all the year and hot baths. Fantastic property with a gorgeous view. Clean and well equipped. Very cozy and we had a lovely stay here. The location was fantastic for the golden circle and we enjoyed a dip in the hot tub overlooking the views.

Found by bubbling geothermal springs in Hveragerdi, this hotel offers an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs and sauna. All rooms include bathrobes, slippers and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free. Everything was beyond excellent! The room, the staff, the ameneties! Held our wedding reception there and it was magical, perfect beyond words. Marion and her team are the absolute best!
