We were in awe of this property’s beauty and the owner’s attention to detail. It felt like absolute luxury from top to bottom. Nella was an incredible host and went above and beyond assisting us during our stay. Truly top tier availability. It’s set in a quiet neighborhood outside the city of Bologna, making it very tranquil and relaxing. The room we stayed in was large with skylights and automatic shades. The attached bathroom was enormous and beautifully done. We loved the modern, sleek, and minimalist aesthetic. The indoor pool area is such a gorgeous space and we loved having access to a Turkish bath and sauna. The hosts had on some ambient and calm music as we swam in the evening.

Excellent quiet location in the hills, 15 minutes from Unipol Arena and 30 minutes from Bologna centre by car, private parking on the property itself, behind a secure gate. Super cozy kitchen and living room where we took the liberty to play some 70's vinyls during our extremely opulent breakfast (albeit all sweet, as is the custom in Italy). Max the host makes you feel right at home, and takes good care of the communication before and during your stay so you never feel lost. All in all excellent value, and I bet it's even more so in the summer with the outdoor pool in the garden :)

Situated within 19 km of Archiginnasio di Bologna and 19 km of La Macchina del Tempo, Country House Oliveto sul Lago features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in San Nicolò. Beautiful place, amazing location. The building is new and well maintained. The pool is really nice and we have also great experience with the staff - young, but very nice. The rooms are spacious, exclusive bathrooms and stunning views. But what we admired the most was the breakfast. Not that wide selection, but everything was completely fresh, homemade and local and tasted amazing!

Located in Camugnano, BorgoGuerzano77 offers a patio with mountain and pool views, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, spa facilities and public bath. lovely host, lovely place! I will recommend the dinner here also, it's delicious and romantic! Italian make good food!

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, La Torre di Longara is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Calderara di Reno, 17 km from Museum for the Memory of Ustica. The place is a wonderful and stylish mix of modern and historic elements. The owners put lot of effort in this mix (e.g. in the rooms are pieces of old furniture as a memory of the past, former doors or window shutters are used as tables with modern table legs, etc) The old structures are smartly adjusted (e.g. to provide light). The rooms are very nice, bathrooms great (with good water pressure), everything very clean. The owner is extremely nice, welcoming and multilingual. Distance to Bologna is fine. Pool is nicely warm with fantastic size! Garden is huge and with cozy seating areas. Stayed only one night but could have easily enjoyed a few days there.

Offering a shared lounge and pool view, B&B Hole6 is located in Castenaso, 12 km from Bologna Fair and 12 km from La Macchina del Tempo. Easy check-in. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The place feels very home-like, quiet and cosy. The best part was the location. The view was stunning. The lake and the nature are breathtaking. Would totally recommend! Hopefully we will visit again soon!
