Set in Pizzo, 300 metres from Pizzo Beach, Asterias Residence - Rooms & SPA features accommodation with spa facilities, a steam room and an open-air bath. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

Located within 6.3 km of Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola and 7.2 km of Tropea Marina, BLOOM Tropea features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tropea. Extremely clean and close to all beaches in Tropea. The host Lidia was amazing. Whatever you need she will ensure to get it for you. Very friendly and kind. Will be reserving for next year’s vacation.

Vicky's B&B by V is located in Papasidero and features a rooftop pool and pool views. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. It is in a quiet location and clean good sized swimming pool with beds and parasols. Our room is clean and the view is beautiful. We went to Scarea beaches and 20 minutes to get by car. We did, in the morning we used the swimming pool, then lunch out to the Scalea beach, After the beach, we cooled down in the pool back again. The air-conditioning was working well, but it was quite cool in the night while we were in August.

Situated just 1.5 km from Tonicello Beach, SUNSEA - Enjoy Your Family features accommodation in Capo Vaticano with access to pool with a view, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Rauhallinen, kaunis, puhdas ja viihtyisä. Vietimme täällä vain kaksi yötä, mutta olisimme voineet viipyä koko viikon. Kaikki oli siistiä ja uutta, todella viihtyisät huoneet ja allasalue. Upea näköala merelle ja auringonlasku oli aivan kuin tarjottimella. Mahdollisuus käyttää pesukonetta ilmaiseksi. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Sijainti loistava, mutta vaatii auton. Our stay in Casa Natura 40 was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and spotless - every detail was perfectly thought out. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, making us feel truly at home. The breakfast was simply outstanding - fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with so many local and homemade options that made every morning special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Calabria!
