Set in Breuil-Cervinia, 7.7 km from Klein Matterhorn, Hotel al Piolet offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Wonderful accommodation, helpful friendly staff, great location and facilities. A warm, clean, beautifully decorated hotel. The location for skiing “in” is excellent, we skied back to the accommodation most days. Skiing out isn't an option, you can get directly onto the piste, from the back of the hotel (via a lift in the building) but it’s flat on that section of slope, so not much point in putting on skis or a snowboard. However, it’s a 30 second walk on the snow to the road near the gondola and cable car, so it’s a 3 min walk in in total (even in ski boots!) from the hotel to the lifts. But if you don't want to do that they also offer a shuttle service to the ski lifts. We had breakfast and dinner during our stay, I'm vegetarian and (unfortunately) celiac, a tricky combination when dining out, but they did a good job at catering for my dietary requirements. The wait staff were all helpful and friendly. The outdoor heated pool is nice, with nice views of the mountains and views down into the town, it’s not that big, so it can get quite busy at the end of the day when guests are relaxing their tired legs after a day on the slopes.. The steam room and sauna are very nice and a great thing to enjoy, to help rejuvenate the body after skiing/boarding or hiking in the summer. My husband and I both had a massage during our stay, which is also available at an additional cost.

Everything! The place is absolutely stunning, perfect location very close to the lifts to go skiing. Probably one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. They are super attentive and go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. All the food is km0 and the breakfast is excellent. The SPA is great, with everything you need, despite it being a small hotel. All the sustainability aspects of the hotel makes it all even better! Our stay was absolutely perfect, thank you!!

Set in Bard in the Aosta Valley, 100 metres from the panoramic lift to Fort Bard, Hotel Ad Gallias offers wellness facilities and a rooftop terrace overlooking the fort. I particularly liked the location, furnishings, and restaurant design of the hotel. The food is very special - local, also served specially, and we had a wonderful breakfast. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
