Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the sea, SETOUCHI RETREAT by Onko Chishin Adults only is situated in Matsuyama in the Ehime Region, 11 km from Matsuyama. This was the most impressive hotel we stayed in in Japan. Our room was huge, with one wall entirely of glass, facing a garden and forested area. Originally built as a museum, the architecture and art are stunning. There are only seven rooms, with just one room per floor. The dining was exquisite with very professional staff. We had a private onsen bath that was open to the outdoors on one side. There is a beautiful lounge (with free prosecco) that we seemed to be the only guests to use, and a dramatic and absolutely gorgeous swimming pool with a view of the sea.

Boasting an indoor swimming pool and a large public bath, Imabari Kokusai Hotel is located a 10-minute walk from JR Imabari Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Tallest building in the area and the most pretty - I was at the 15th floor and I had amazing view of the bridge and the sea and the castle. My room was very very luxurious and spacious. The breakfast was nice, not many dessert options. The breakfast is right by a beautiful garden with big waterfalls and it was amazing to eat there, I took many pictures. The lobby is also amazing and huge. Everything is very boutique. Hope they won’t raise their prices, it’s very worth it right now (about ¥14K). I saw there’s a train station close by but I got there by car, the parking costs money but I would’ve parked at a different location if I knew.

The staff are super courteous and give you a real sense of Japanese culture. Our room was large and had a lovely view onto the river. Free coffee and soft drinks, and an onsen was included (we didn't even need to use the shower in our room). Really great value for the service we received!

The futon was very comfortable and after nice oncen i slept like a baby. The food were delicious too. The facilities were great.

Nastanitev Okudogo Ichiyunomori se nahaja v mestu Matsuyama, 5,6 km od znamenitosti Joshin-ji Temple, in ponuja sezonski zunanji bazen, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, vrt ter bar. The hotspring facilities are all amazing. Especially, the private hotspring was quite comfortable and it was nice that they have several different options for it. Also, they have wide range of yukata which we can choose without paying any extra fee.
