This was the nicest hotel room we stayed in across Japan (we stayed at 6 hotels and various other apartments, homes, and condos). Everything was updated and the layout was exceptional. The staff was kind enough to facilitate getting us a tee time at the onsite golf course. It was an amazingly beautiful course.

The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room is big, the staff are helpful, polite, and accommodating. The onsen was great! Truly value for money.

We rented a cabin during our stay which was clean and the heated floors were already warmed up before we arrived. The shuttle to and from the main resort was extremely convenient and arrived upon request. The onsen is absolutely phenomenal and the breakfast was great with a lot of options. My wife is a vegetarian and we never had any problems filling our plates. The staff were very nice and accommodating and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay was exceptional. Honestly, my wife and I loved staying here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

El Tenjin Lodge está rodeado de montañas exuberantes en Minakami, a solo 5 minutos a pie del teleférico Tenjindaira Snow Resort y de la estación JR Doai. Food excellent. Hospitality overwhelming; I was lucky to stay when only 5 guest present so Kieran (owner, chef, handy man, concierge) and Nana (sp?) were very good to me. Kieran even gave me a ride to Doai station (actually very short distance) to catch train upon my departure. Very beautiful area for hiking during my Autumn stay but I understand that Tenjin gets quite busy during Winter/skiing season.

Hotel Yunojin está ubicado en Minakami, a 39 km de Centro de esquí Gala Yuzawa y a 42 km de Naeba Ski Resort. the buffet for breakfast and dinner were amazing ! always wanted to try bits of different japanese food and they deliver that ! i love the outdoor onsen plus the smell of the cypress tree adds a 3d dimension experiences of an outdoor onsen. and I thoroughly enjoy my times having an outdoor onsen ! it was tranquil. In addition i really love that they have arcade games, massage chair and also karaoke rooms. seeing the arcade games was nostalgic and makes me reminiscence my childhood times . Although old school but these games are getting rare to see these days.
