Boasting spacious suites and views of Ago-wan Bay, Shima Kanko Hotel was the venue for the G7 Ise-Shima Summit 2016. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Kashikojima Train Station. Dinner food was elegant and delicious! Local taste foods with Portuguese source was fancy!

For the 4th time, I had the chance to stay at Tabuse Villa Daio Resort, it was another an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Masaru who is always attentive. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. It feels like you are back home. The room was immaculate — beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with every comfort I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere. The hotel amenities were equally impressive. The hotel also has a pool, outdoor sauna room, BBQ corner and many other facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, and memorable stay. Especially if you are going for fishing around Mie prefecture. I can’t wait to go back.

Located in Iga, within 45 km of Suzuka Circuit and 49 km of Nara Station, Hill Hotel Sunpia Iga provides free WiFi. Clean twin bed room for single use (with bike in room), large communal indoor/outdoor hot spring bath, good buffet breakfast, good room rate.

Located in Shima, 23 km from Ise Grand Shrine, Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. As a European, I love it. I was worried it might be tacky, cheap, kitsch and so on, but it's just a really lovely and stylish slice of Mediterranean. Grounds and facilities were impeccable thanks to recent renovations. Great food, great public bath, great staff. The breakfast was a delight. It's just about within walking distance of the Yokoyama trail area if you're up for a bit of hiking.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Todaya is located in Toba. The property is a 3-minute walk from JR Toba station and is a convenient location from where to tour Ise-Shima. The location from the station was very convenient.

Located less than 200 m from the sea shore, Ryoso Uminocho offers tranquil getaway spot with free-access private beach, seasonal outdoor pool and sauna. Good breakfast, bathhouse and certainly shuttle bus services helped a lot! Sadly, the pool was not available although I was planning to swim there. The view from bed room was amazing.

Overlooking Toba City and Ise Bay, Senpokaku boasts a tea lounge and natural hot-spring baths with panoramic views. The Japanese-style rooms include bay views and a full en suite bathroom. Hotel is located on a hill which has a nice view of the harbor. Shuttle bus is very convenient, you can also walk down the hill. Staff are very friendly and helpful, excellent!
