Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. Extremely close to the snow monkey park! Best place to stay if you want to be the first on the trail! The style of the hotel seemed very traditional, and the staff went above and beyond to help. The rooms were big and comfortable, and the private onsen we’re great. We ended up doing the dinner, which was a good experience!

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 5.7 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area. our stay at Hieda Sanso was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of a well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed lodge, along with the genuine hospitality of Mr. Yasushi, made it an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Otari, and we hope to return someday to create more wonderful memories. Thank you, Mr. Yasushi, for making our stay so special!

Directly connected to the slopes of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort and within a 1-minute walk from the Lift 1, Hotel Grand Phenix Okushiga provides a convenient ski-in/ski-out access. Incredible service and incredible overall experience. It's like staying in a fancy cabin in the snow. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.

Situated in Nozawa Onsen, 22 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, Nozawa Grand Hotel features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Nice hotel with a cool 80s vibe. Rooms were spacious. Good buffet breakfast. Outdoor Onsen in the snow was a great experience. Not too far from Yu Road and Hikage ski area.

Situated in Shinano, 30 km from Zenkoji Temple, Hotel Tangram features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The location and all the facilities at our doorstep. Reasonably priced. The snow raft and kids park was a highlight.

Situated within a private forest and boasting outdoor hot springs and award-winning cuisine, Sierra Resort Hakuba is a 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Breakfast was incredible and the amenities are top tier. I was thoroughly impressed with the resort and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Hakuba

Situated in Chino, 31 km from Canora Hall, Tateshina Tokyu Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Wonderful Experience in a Peaceful, Nature-Connected Atmosphere We stayed at the hotel for three nights and the experience was delightful. Our room was spacious and featured a stunning panoramic view of the lake, creating a serene atmosphere and genuine connection to the surrounding nature. The beds were very comfortable and contributed to a quality sleep. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Japanese and Western options - each of us found exactly what suited our taste. The quality of the food was high and the selection was extensive. While the hotel's style is somewhat dated, that's actually part of its charm. Most importantly - everything is maintained to an excellent standard and feels clean and well-kept. The staff was simply wonderful - attentive, considerate, and always ready to help with a smile. We would definitely return and highly recommend!
