Beautiful garden, big rooms, fantastic Onsen, near the monkey park, very nice staff with decent English, awesome food. In short, everything. Best place we stayed in Japan.

This place is the most relaxing, beautiful and unique. I’ll highly recommend to anyone who stays in the area to come there. The staff is incredible nice and welcoming. Mogu is such an amazing human being, she will not admit it but she is a talented chef. Domind and Dilushan are always with a smile. Do yourself a favor and book this place.

Wonderful house built by the owner Yasushi-san. Two comfortable bedrooms and more sleeping room on the 2nd floor. Heating system was working very well and kept us warm throughout our stay. It has all the essentials you need on holiday to cook and for entertainment. Wonderful location just beside Cortina resort. It is also possible to ski home directly from the slopes to the doorsteps! You can get discount vouchers from the owner for rentals and the shop. Audio for Onsen and lift tickets. The owner went the extra mile to help get snow socks for my car when it was stuck in heavy snow. We plan on coming back to stay one summer!

Directly connected to the slopes of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort and within a 1-minute walk from the Lift 1, Hotel Grand Phenix Okushiga provides a convenient ski-in/ski-out access. I never experienced such VIP service otherwise in the world. Whole reception teams demonstrated what extraordinary service should be. I arrived late by bus and was welcomed by one receptionist in bus stop. so I did not need to carry my luggage in the snowing road. They even opened the ski rental shop for me after working hour. The next morning, I missed public shuttle bus and they offered to use hotel shuttle bus to drive me over to ski lift in Yakebitaiyama without reservation in advance. I felt that I was living with a lot of friends instead of living in hotel. I was too tired to try the bar at night, and I would like to try it next time. Swimming pool was good with quite warm water. Hot bathing place with best view. Sun rising over snow mountain top. Breakfast was very good with many variations. The dinner I ordered was pork hotpot, and personally I think the starter tasted better and pork meat is okay. I will try something else next time. All in all, the service and room condition are all top.

Situated within a private forest and boasting outdoor hot springs and award-winning cuisine, Sierra Resort Hakuba is a 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Breakfast was incredible and the amenities are top tier. I was thoroughly impressed with the resort and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Hakuba

Wonderful Experience in a Peaceful, Nature-Connected Atmosphere We stayed at the hotel for three nights and the experience was delightful. Our room was spacious and featured a stunning panoramic view of the lake, creating a serene atmosphere and genuine connection to the surrounding nature. The beds were very comfortable and contributed to a quality sleep. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Japanese and Western options - each of us found exactly what suited our taste. The quality of the food was high and the selection was extensive. While the hotel's style is somewhat dated, that's actually part of its charm. Most importantly - everything is maintained to an excellent standard and feels clean and well-kept. The staff was simply wonderful - attentive, considerate, and always ready to help with a smile. We would definitely return and highly recommend!

The location and all the facilities at our doorstep. Reasonably priced. The snow raft and kids park was a highlight.
