With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

The hotel is on the lake. Despite this, the area is not for recreation. We were given a room on a high floor and from the window you could see the beautiful view of the lake. The service was exceptional, wide beds and very comfortable mattresses. Cleaning and changing of towels every day. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has several restaurants: Chinese, Japanese, French and also a coffee bar with a large selection of cakes. The only disappointment is that this bar is only open until 6 pm.

Beautiful view of the lake a far away from the mad crowds of Kyoto. The staff and the service was unbelievable for the price by far the best accommodation hotel service we experienced in Japan

Only a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station with the complimentary shuttle, hotel Yuzanso features Japanese-style rooms with a private open-air hot spring bath and spectacular views of Biwako... We had a wonderful time at Yuzanso! The hotel is a bit isolated, so for us, it was a very welcomed escape from the city noise. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. The facilities were great - we tried the public baths and the private outdoor bath, both very relaxing. We had a huge room with an amazing view of the lake Biwa. Delicious and very filling breakfast, but the best part was the dinner - so much attention to detail, a beautiful presentation, and delicious food - It was incredible. I would definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for a tranquil and relaxing japanese experience.
