We stayed at Kinugawa Park Hotels in Kinugawa, Nikko (Tochigi) for two nights last weekend, and we loved every minute of it. The traditional ryokan atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for—calm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The highlight of our stay was definitely the meals. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors that made every meal feel special. It was one of those rare experiences where you look forward to breakfast and dinner just as much as exploring the area. The staff were warm and attentive, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a taste of traditional Japanese hospitality, Kinugawa Park Hotels is a fantastic choice. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Hotel EL Utsunomiya 7 free parking ligger i Utsunomiya og tilbyr 5-stjerners overnatting og tilgang til egen balkong. The location was great. It was very easy to find and accessing the room was easy. Literally right across the street from Utsunomiya Station. We could even see it from our room. We liked that there were so many beds, it was spacious, the rooms were clean, the kitchen was spotless and came with free food such as microwaveable pasta, water, etc (1 per guest). The TV is huge and we could watch Netflix and YouTube. The apartment is on the top floor so noise was never a problem. My favorite part of place was probably the bathroom. It was BIG, AND the tub is a jacuzzi! All amenities, dishes and the such were included so the place actually felt like home.

Located a 5-minute walk from Tobu World Square, Hotel Harvest Kinugawa boasts open-air hot spring bath and indoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Located outside Tobu nikko Center 35 min by train in nature. Great relaxing spot ands supermarkets and a few restaurants near by in walking distance. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the onsen and Nikko.

I Nikko, 19 kilometer fra Tobu Nikko stasjon, ligger Kinugawa Royal Hotel, som har et sesongåpent utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. It is actually a hotel that offers more than what it costs. I booked the room with river view, the room is spacious and clean. It have public onsen and private onsen but you need to arrive early in order to book the private onsen. The meal is delicious and they even offer free flow alchohol drink at dinner!

I Nikko, 21 kilometer fra Tobu Nikko stasjon, ligger Itoen Hotel New Sakura, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Dette 3-stjerners ryokanet har en døgnåpen resepsjon. Nice hotel. Great buffet dinner with refillable sake. Many facility such as Onsen, karaoke, table tennis. Staff is friendly. Konbini just infront of the hotel. Highly recommended!
