We loved English Point Residence!All the staff (special shout out to Magdalena, Caroline and Ryan) and KD were great! KD was very responsive to messages and always available in case we needed anything. The location is perfect, it’s a three minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute cab ride to town center. The place is beautiful, with a huge balcony, you have a perfect ocean view, the apartment is very spacious, the sleeping rooms are all super nice (with the ocean view!), the kitchen is fully equipped. They provide water for your stay and milk on the first day which came in handy for our toddler! We loved the (authentic Swahili) breakfast, appreciated the peace and quiet, as well as the safety in and around the property. Our 3 year old kid loved to play with the dogs and thoroughly enjoyed the pool! I highly recommend this property and will definitely be our to-go to spot in Mombasa!

Tombo House is an incredible hidden gem in Diani Beach, Mombasa, that ticked all the boxes for me. I wanted to reconnect with nature, switch off from my devices, relax, eat good food and enjoy the tropical weather that Mombasa had to offer. Tombo House was the perfect hideaway to do that. Its grounds are incredibly well looked after, and the gardens were absolutely stunning to walk around, all well-maintained and beautiful. The room itself (Deluxe double with a balcony) exceeded my expectations - it was extremely clean, well decorated and was very calming to stay there. The bathroom was clean, as was the bedroom and hallway, and the balcony had the most incredibly mountain view with lots of trees and monkeys that came to say hello in the early morning or early evening. I was pleased that the room had mosquito nets on the windows, which meant I could fall asleep to the birds and crickets at night without getting eaten alive by the mozzies. It was also really relaxing to have the windows open when it lashed down with tropical rain! I really loved the breakfast, too. I enjoyed waking up early to enjoy a selection of fresh fruits, delicious German sweet bread (and all the condiments and jams), and the two ladies who made me delicious eggs and bacon every morning. I also loved the morning playlist in the dining area, although it did feel like groundhog day sometimes because I kept hearing the same song every day (John Mayer) but I didn't mind, it was very relaxing and I loved the songs. Great music taste by the way. I LOVED the garden with the gorgeous pool and sun beds, and the staff were incredibly helpful with everything. Thank you Nora, your partner as well for his friendliness, Eunice is the best, as is Vanessa, the two men maintaining the garden were friendly, as were the security team. Kira and the other pooch!!! I felt very safe travelling alone here and it's all thanks to you guys. Thank you. Will definitely come back again! P.S.

Chegamos tarde à acomodação, mas mesmo assim nos esperava um jantar ainda quente. Limpeza impecável. Bem próximo ao mar. Dica: não deixem a porta da casa aberta com geladeira abastecida, há macacos bem caras-de-pau que entram mesmo com a presença de pessoas 😄😄
