Trevor, the son and manager, who takes cabs to the beach or town, otherwise Tuk-tuk (3-wheeled motorcycle) Boda Boda (motorcycle) will get you into the city quickly and for little money. The cook, Saidi, who prepares very delicious lunch or dinner on request and shines with fantastically prepared and market-fresh products such as fish, seafood, chicken, vegetables, salad etc. Albert cleans the rooms, prepares and decorate the bed with fresh flowers and washes clothes on request for small amount. Karissa is responsible for the beautiful garden and pool, which invites you to chill under the palm trees at the pool. He cuttet and opened the fresh coconuts from own trees. They all do a great job, are always ready to help and sparkle with their joie de vivre. You feel at home right from the start. In any case, a reunion is guaranteed. Thank you so much.

The restaurant is great with delicious food and the stuff were so kind and welcoming And they can take you anytime to the othet side of watamu just by 5 mins boat Thank you David and Gracious and all the staff for an unforgettable experience ♥️

Everything was great. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and felt authentic. The dinner every night was very varied and of good quality, including fresh (and raw) fish. Great bar service and all around very friendly and helpful staff both at breakfast and at dinner, as well as the housekeepers. Would 10/10 recommend.

Offering a spa and wellness centre, 2 pools surrounded by palm trees, Hemingways Watamu is located on the beachfront of Watamu. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi. The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were exceptionally well furnished. The meals were delicious, and the restaurant offered incredible views. The staff were so friendly and professional. Collins, Ramson, Janet, and the rest of the team including the excursion staff who I'd recommend highly as were patient and took time even when I got unwell. They all went above and beyond for my husband and I.

There was a full menu for lunch, dinner, snacks and fruit drinks. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
