The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Situated within 200 metres of 18th Century Swahili House Museum and 200 metres of Lamu Museum, Pwani House - Lamu Seafront features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lamu. That place is absolutely amazing 😍 we had the privilege of getting the big room and the balcony has a perfect view over the ocean and the harbour and the promenade. We really enjoyed the spacious room. It's all ready nicely designed as well. But our favourite thing in pwani house was our host Ibrahim who made the best breakfast for us and was always available during our stay. We will definitely book there again!

The food was great. My daughter really enjoyed the fish fingers and ordered them everyday throughout our stay. We loved the group dinner they organized for our friends that consisted of a variety of authentic Swahili dishes.
