Fantastic staff and hotel manager. We arrived early in the morning and we were provided a space to relax while our room was prepared and then provided an early check in. We very much appreciated this after a long flight. The rooms are new and have everything you need including all toiletries and full kitchen and washing machine. The breakfast bakery next door has wonderful pastries and coffee. Thank you very much The Peninsula.

Palace Gate Hotel & Resort ligger i en restaurert villa i fransk kolonistil ved siden av Kongepalasset i Phnom Penh. Hotellet har utendørsbasseng og utsikt over elven Tonle Sap. From the moment I arrived at Palace Gate I felt so welcomed and valued. The welcome drink and cold towel was very much appreciated, and the check in process was very smooth. The whole feel of the hotel was calm and serene, little a lovely little oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The room I had was beautiful, clean, spacious and with a wonderful view of the river. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and I couldnt hear traffic or outside noise at all. Slept really well on a very comfortable bed. The pool was fantastic, swam every day, with some delicious cocktails poolside in the evening. Pool snacks were very tasty too! I dodnt get the chance to eat at the restaurant while I was staying but the food there looked amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very attentive - special thanks to Sokkeang who gave me some great advice for my stay. Would definitely go back :)
