The room and staff were amazing. Great infrastructure and the overall design and esthetics of the resort are great. The breakfast was amazing, and we loved how you could order more than one serving per person. Staff was very helpful in setting up tours and ferries as well. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in koh rong samloem, from what we were able to see this place is by far the best on the island and the best we have been to in Cambodia!

We absolutely loved the beach front bungalow where we stayed in. The most beautiful beach we have ever seen and maybe the best on the island ( from what we've seen). The place looks much better than at the pictures.

Boasting an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a sundeck, Long Set Resort offers accommodation in Koh Rong Island, an hour away from Sihanoukville by boat. Free WiFi is offered in public areas. Our experience at this hotel was outstanding, largely thanks to the exceptional work of the restaurant manager, Mao Chantola, who truly deserves every praise. It feels as though he manages the entire hotel – he notices every small detail and gives individual attention to each guest. It’s remarkable how he remembers what every guest enjoys, when they come for breakfast, and what they’re interested in. He spends a lot of time engaging with guests, sharing stories about the local history, and answering any questions, which makes everyone feel truly welcomed. The rest of the staff also deserve recommendation. The team at reception was just as amazing – every time we went on an excursion, they walked us to the pier and handed us off to the tour organizer, giving us an added sense of security. Everyone was always smiling and happy to help whenever we needed. The housekeeping team, who took care of the bungalows, did their work quickly, efficiently, and without a single fault. Also the beach is clean, they keep it in perfect condition, the water is cristal clear, because of this constant work. This is definitely a place worth visiting, and we’re already looking forward to coming back one day. Thank you all for this wonderful experience!

Accommodation: The bungalows are beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. I stayed in a beachfront bungalow, and waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of crystal-clear waters was unforgettable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a peaceful stay. Food & Dining: The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, from fresh seafood to traditional Cambodian cuisine. Every meal was a delight, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate dietary preferences. Dining by the beach under the stars was an experience I’ll cherish forever. Activities: There’s no shortage of things to do at Apsara Resort. I enjoyed snorkeling in the vibrant coral reefs, kayaking around the island, and simply lounging on the pristine beach. The resort also organized a sunset boat tour, which was a highlight of my trip. For those seeking relaxation, the hammocks and beachside massages were perfect. Staff & Service: The staff at Apsara Resort truly made my stay exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure I had a memorable experience. Their genuine care and professionalism added a special touch to my vacation. Overall Experience: Apsara Resort Koh Rong is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. Mr. Mangoshake here to give a review; The hosts and service employees are all extremely friendly as well as professional. I ate all my meals at the resort during my stay, which is telling of how tasty the food is. The cleaning crew had always cleaned my room while I was having my breakfast. The bungalows are huge and I had plenty of space to do my yoga etc. inside it. The beach is nice as well... And I bet the place keeps on improving based on the discussions I had with the managers.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. We genuinely loved everything about this hotel — not just the facilities, but the feeling it gave us. Andrea and Katie, the lovely German host couple, made our stay incredibly comfortable and personal. You can really feel the care they put into every detail. We stayed ~ a week in a separate comfy bungalow. It was equipped with air conditioning, fans, a fridge, kettle, and tea/coffee. In the bathroom, everything was thoughtfully prepared — shampoo, shower gel, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and even a hair dryer. Fresh towels for both the shower and the pool were replaced daily, and the room was cleaned every day without fail. And we absolutely have to compliment the kitchen separately. We are true food lovers, and every single dish we tried was delicious. The menu is a wonderful mix of Khmer and Thai cuisine alongside German classics like schnitzel, bratwurst and sauerkraut. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We met regular guests who come back mainly for the food — and now we completely understand why. Katie kindly helped us arrange boat trips to the islands, which made everything smooth and stress-free. There’s also a very good gym just five minutes away by tuk-tuk (around $1.50 per visit), which was a nice bonus for us. What we appreciated most, though, was the atmosphere. It’s cozy, peaceful, and quiet — the kind of place where you truly feel at home rather than just a guest. We left with very warm memories and planning to return.

The Hotel was amazing! Totally unexpected. One of the best hotel experience i ever had, price is very reasonable, food was nice, location is strategic, near beach and mall/restaurants, the staff was totally friendly and the manager David was very accommodating. He gave me free upgrade! Will be back!
