Localizado a 8 km do Patrimônio Mundial Wat Phou. O La Folie Lodge oferece acomodações com vista para o Rio Mekong. This was our third stay at la Folie Lodge over the last 10 years. I think management would be hard pushed to find more enthusiastic guests. It is a wonderful place and, located on an island in the Mekong, is quite literally out of this world. The entire experience is simply superlative. The rooms are lovely, the vista from the balcony over the river to the sacred mountain of Vat Phu inspiring, the pool immaculate, the restaurant excellent and Mr Alom's staff charmingly attentive. Special thanks must go out to his second in command, the genial Mr Sam from Pondicherry who raised our enjoyment of this visit to even greater heights. His apparent ability to be everywhere simultaneously when you needed him coupled with his friendly, courteous and discreet assistance transformed our days. Thank you Mr Sam!

At the front desk Laa (not sure about the spelling of her name) was really kind, professional and helpful. Room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was very nice and clean. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Hotel is 10 minutes walking from the city centre but the hotel can book a tuktuk for you for 30-40000 kip one way, to the airport 70000 kip one way and to the big buddha with the temple on the top of the mountain 200000 kip round trip with time to take pictures, do not miss it !

À beira-mar, Lebijou Guesthouse - Konesavath oferece acomodação 1 estrela em Don Det e oferece piscina ao ar livre, jardim e lounge compartilhado. Excellent location! It's right near the boat dock and near the stores, restaurants, travel agencies, bars, etc. of the town. It felt homey and welcoming, and it's set back a bit from the main road with a courtyard space with some hammocks in front of the hotel buildings. My room had its own entrance, a porch with a table, ac, and the shower was consistently very hot. The owners were always onsite and helpful. They book travel excursions and bus tickets through the hotel, and they have a restaurant as well (I didn't eat there, so I don't know how the food is). It was a really comfortable room, and I loved the vibe and the location!
