The property is located right on the bank of the Mekong river, providing a fantastic location for watching the sunset. We loved the abundant breakfast, the pool and the easy going mood.

The White Elephant Hostel was by far the best Hostel I’ve stayed at in Laos. I was a little sad I couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the pool! The hostel is very modern and very clean and there are plenty of toilets and showers. The beds are comfortable and clean and the curtains provide privacy. Ben and his wife were very kind and helpful. I was able to do the two day, 1night camping experience thanks to Ben and I was able to get back to Vientiane on time for my flight. I’m very grateful I got to experience that, I definitely recommend it. The location is walking distance from many cool places! Shops and restaurants etc. Overall a Great place!!!

Decent prices for drinks at the pool. We required a medical check and the staff took us to a private clinic, which was more than adequate for our needs
